Saumya's empathetic and thoughtful approach to all her endeavors adds depth to the practice. She strives to create meaningful and expressive spaces that interact with their context - cultural, climatic, environmental, and physical - resulting in a physical manifestation of a wholesome experience. 

She was awarded a Gold Medal for her final year thesis- Crematorium and the GICEA Gold Medal 2017 for the same.
